Aaron Hutton
was born in Chicago, IL, and is the grandson of a Lutheran pastor and the son of an LCMS parochial school teacher.
He is a 2009 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. “I was primed by my family to have a pastoral heart,” Aaron states.
“Already when I was 8 years old, I knew I wanted to be a pastor.” In 2005, he was awarded a BA in Pre-Seminary
and Theological Languages from Concordia University in Mequon, WI. It was there he met the love of his life,
Kristine nee Jacob, also a student at Concordia—in the Lay Ministry program where she majored in youth
work and family ministry. On July 3, 2004, Aaron and Krissy were united in marriage.

During his year of internship, Aaron served at King of Glory Lutheran Church in
Williamsburg, VA. His supervisor, Pastor George Lobien, reported:
“Aaron’s Christian character is strong and he has a servant heart. He handles Law/Gospel well.
He makes friends easily. Evangelism is one of his strengths, as is his ability in preaching and teaching.”
During that year, Krissy was also employed as Director of Youth and Family Ministries.
While serving at his fieldwork congregation in St. Louis, Aaron initiated a contemporary worship event on Saturday nights.
Aaron states: “My joy is any ministry involving people—anything to do with people:
Bible class, worship, visits in homes, youth work, children’s sermons, hospital calls…
The amazing thing is that so often I will come to lift someone up with the Word, but it’s me who’s lifted up.”
Anticipating the opportunities of his ministry in the Wrightstown vicinity, he says: “It’s all exciting to me.” . |
