About Alleluia Blessings

Alleluia Blessings Child Care Center provides a caring, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where God’s children are treasured for the unique individuals they are. The focus is on child-centered teaching, developmentally appropriate practices, and the belief that 'play is a child's work.' Our goal is to develop and support each child's confidence, creativity, and life-long learning skills in our program. To support this goal, we use a curriculum that aligns with Wisconsin Model Early Language Standards (WMELS) and can be adjusted to the individual child’s learning level and goals. In addition, the “One in Christ” preschool curriculum will be used to help young children learn about Jesus and grow in their understanding of God’s love for them.

Opportunities for children to learn and grow are part of their daily program and activities.

Creatively - children will have opportunities every day to express themselves through art, music, movement, and creative play.

Intellectually - children will participate in age-appropriate activities and be given opportunities to learn and practice “academic” skills at their developmental stage to include literacy, math, science, and problem solving.

Physically - children will participate in large motor (i.e. rolling, running, jumping, hopping, crawling, climbing) and fine motor (i.e. puzzles, play-doh, stringing beads, coloring, drawing, cutting) activities at their developmental level.

Socially and Emotionally - children will learn to love and care for others as they develop their own positive self-concept knowing that they are a redeemed child of God. Children will learn to self-regulate their emotions while practicing tools and strategies to calm and be in control of their actions.

Spiritually - children will learn of Jesus' love for them through Bible stories, songs, simple prayers and connections of God’s word to their lives.
